2 Days Tour From Fez To Merzouga

Your two-day adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes. We’ll embark on a scenic drive through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains, making our way toward the Sahara Desert.

Our first stop is in Ifrane, often called “The Little Switzerland of Morocco,” where you’ll experience the French-inspired architecture and enjoy the pleasant climate of this charming town. We’ll then visit Immouzer, a beautiful spot known for its refreshing atmosphere.

Next, we’ll head to Azrou, a Berber town nestled in the forest, where you’ll encounter playful monkeys and learn about the rich Berber culture. Continuing to Midelt, also known as the “Berber Town of Rocks,” you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber Tagine for lunch, immersing yourself in the local flavors and history.

In the afternoon, we reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll saddle up for a camel trek across the golden dunes, experiencing the serene beauty of the desert at sunset. Our desert camp awaits amidst the sand dunes, where you’ll spend the night under the stars, enjoying a Berber folklore show around the campfire.

On the second day, we’ll wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the endless Sahara dunes. After breakfast and a refreshing shower at a Merzouga hotel, we’ll visit Rissani, the historical town known as the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling dynasty. You’ll explore its vibrant souks and ancient cultural landmarks.

We’ll then continue our journey through the scenic Ziz Gorges and stop for lunch in a traditional Berber village. The tour wraps up with a leisurely drive back to Fes, passing through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, we’ll drop you off at your hotel or riad in Fes, marking the end of this memorable two-day desert experience.
