- Itinerary :

After breakfast, departure over the mountains of the High Atlas towards Telouet to the Tichka Pass (2260m). Visit to the beautiful Kasbah de Glaoui. Continue on an increasingly winding and narrow road. A landscape adorned with kasbahs and Berber villages will amaze you. Continuing south, you will stumble across the most magnificent kasbah in Morocco, the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After 30 km you will reach the quintessentially picturesque town of Ouarzazate via the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing El Klaa, the town of roses, to take a pleasant road of about 40 km. It offers you the opportunity to admire a picturesque landscape and perhaps meet some of the region’s mountain nomads. Then continue towards the Daddes gorges, all along the famous Daddes valley.

A valley that contrasts with the colors and well-preserved kasbahs perched on the surrounding hills. A short walk before returning to Boumalne, then dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Departure from Boumale towards the gigantic gorges of Todra on a road surrounded by palm groves, offering a magnificent view of the gardens and the ksours.

Breakfast and continue to Tinjdad, visit a former ksar typical of this region. Visit Erfoud, the city of fossils. Continue along the road to finally get on the back of a dromedary and enjoy the sunset in the vast dunes of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac under a nomad tent, under the stars or in the hostel

We have to get up early! The dromedaries are waiting for us in front of the hotel. We set off silently into the still dark dunes. We await the first rays of sunshine of the new day on one of the highest dunes. We return to the hotel for breakfast. In the course of the morning, we set off by Land Rover to circumnavigate Erg Chebbi. We pay a visit to the Gnaouis, descendants of the black Africans who once came here as slaves.

We drive through the black mountains of the Kajal mines to the former French border station. And finally we return to the hotel .

From Merzouga to Rissani, the city of the king of the dynasty of Morocco, and further on a barren road to Tazarine. Continue through a stony desert, past villages, oases and nomads, on a road along the Draa Valley that will take you to Agdez.

You will climb mountains of geologically dry formations and see ore-bearing rocks in various colors that impress with their spectacular shapes. Shortly afterwards, you will be back in Ouarzazate. You can spend your lunch break there before continuing on to Marrakech, where our round trip ends. Our route takes us back over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass and past numerous Berber villages.
