3 Days Tour From Fes To Erg Chebbi Desert Trip

Start your journey from Fes after breakfast, heading toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is in Ifrane, often referred to as “Moroccan Switzerland,” before continuing to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. Capture stunning photos of Morocco’s natural landscapes as we make our way through the mountains. Enjoy lunch in the Berber town of Zaida, before continuing through the Atlas to Medilt and the quaint village of Rich. By late afternoon, we’ll reach the spectacular Toudra Gorges, where we’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, we depart from the Toudra Gorges and head toward the desert village of Merzouga. Passing through small Berber towns, we’ll travel via Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where you’ll get your first glimpse of the Tafilalet oasis. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we’ll rest before embarking on a camel trek across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll experience the peacefulness of the Sahara, try sandboarding, and enjoy a stunning sunset from the top of the dunes. End the evening with a traditional Berber dinner and a drum performance under the starry desert sky.

Start your day with a sunrise camel trek back to Merzouga, where you’ll have breakfast and a chance to refresh. We’ll continue our journey, visiting a nomadic family to share tea before crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Stop for lunch in Midelt, located at the base of the Jbel Ayachi mountain (3,737 meters). After lunch, we’ll make our way back to the legendary city of Fes, marking the end of your unforgettable desert adventure.
