Start your journey from Fes, crossing the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains to reach Ifrane, a charming town resembling a Swiss village. Enjoy the sight of Barbary macaques in the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue through picturesque forests, springs, and Berber villages, stopping in Midelt—famous for fossils and rocks—for lunch. The day concludes with your arrival in Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Saharan music performance and spend the night in a Kasbah.
Explore Erg Chebbi with visits to Merzouga Lake and the oasis. Discover the history of Rissani, the first capital of the Alaouite Dynasty, and explore its famous Kasbahs and market. Experience a camel ride through the desert before arriving at your desert camp, where you’ll enjoy mint tea and a traditional dinner under the stars in a Berber tent.
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the Sahara, then ride camels back to Merzouga for breakfast. Continue your journey along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, with stops at the impressive Todra Gorge and the scenic Dades Valley.
